Kirk's birthday was alot of fun. We ordered Me n Ed's delivery pizza and Heather made a double layer german chocolate cake topped with frosting and crumbled Heath bar. He rec'd an Ipod. It promptly fell out a hole in his pocket and was lost the next day. He truly deserves to have this cool little item so my dad got him another one today as a congrats present in getting the promotion at work.

I watched my 8 y.o. come into her own this morning. She was faced with a task that seemd overwhelming. Her face betrayed terror which transformed to tentative confidence to beaming pride in her accomplishment. All in about two hours.

I think I have something to talk about. Kirk got the new position at work he's been trying for.
Heather has an irrational amount of hatred for someone she doesn't even know. It's a very new emotion for her. Lyssa has started wearing her hair back in a pony and looks two years older. Naomi is on a team for Destination Imagination. Marina passed her 60 + facts for the first time. Phelan's new best friend is Blane.
